I‘m Shashank. I live in Pune, India where I shape the web.

I‘ve loved making things for as long as I can remember. From running my own torrent tracker to collaborating with individuals as a freelancer to my current job, where I work as Senior Software Engineer at Tech9, I‘ve done a variety of things. I‘ve set my goals and have always moved past them.

Since my childhood, I‘ve been a sports fanactic. I enjoy playing football, cricket, lawn tennis, ping pong, chess and a few other sports. It was either speding the day out in the sun, or sitting in front of my windows vista figuring out new PC games. A fun day to me would be spending time at the beach playing football. I also love taking photos with my Canon.

I started my career as a Java developer working on web scraping agents for multiple international banks. Having spend a couple years there, I was introduced to Go and JavaScript and it was a bliss. Since then, my choice of weaponry has been Go with Postgres and React using typescript. Although my goto cloud service has been AWS, I am eager to try my hands on Google Cloud.

Working for Tech9 since 2018, I‘ve had the chance to work in multiple domains like Digital Marketing, Insurance providers, and Learning Management Systems. I‘m glad for all that I‘ve been provided with and now I‘m looking for new horizons to explore.
